Last week, the UN High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR) announced Reclaim Childhood as the Middle East and North Africa regional finalist for the Nansen Refugee Award, which recognizes individuals and organizations for outstanding work on behalf of forcibly displaced or stateless people. Reclaim Childhood was one of only four organizations selected globally for this honor. The UNHCR will host an award ceremony in Jordan in October for our coaches, program director, and other local stakeholders.
